Business Development Representative

We are looking for a driven Sales Development Representative who thrives on building connections and turning prospects into opportunities.

About the job

You are responsible for turning as many Dutch individuals and SME’s as possible into SnappCar Keyless users. SnappCar keyless is the best way to share a car on SnappCar: it’s easy for both renter and owner, and allows the car to be rented out 24/7 without the owner being present.

You call and convince inbound and outbound leads - ranging from consumers with one car to SMEs with fleets of multiple cars- about the benefits of keyless. You are great at sales over phone and email, and take your responsibility for proper administration and follow-up. You also dare to say ‘no’ when there is no fit between the lead and our product. You contribute to an organised and detailed business process in a fast-paced work environment. 

You will be part of the Supply team, which also consists of a team lead, Customer Success Managers, responsible for growing our existing base of Keyless users, and a Keyless installer.

On a typical day in this role, you will:

  • Qualify leads based on their fit with SnappCar keyless;

  • Follow up by phone or mail on incoming leads that are interested in keyless;

  • Select existing non-keyless owners on SnappCar for outbound phone call or mails;

  • Send out contracts to leads that you’ve convinced on the phone;

  • Update our CRM-database with all relevant information;

  • Assist users during their onboarding process when needed.

About you

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in sales and/or account management;

  • You are able to adapt your style to both consumers as well as SMEs;

  • You are a rockstar on the phone and in writing; and love to be on the phone multiple hours a day;

  • Your first thought is not ‘let’s send an e-mail’ but ‘let’s give them a call!’

  • You are organised and understand some administrative tasks are part of the job;

  • You are fluent in Dutch

This being said, enthusiasm and positive energy will take you a long way. So, if you don’t meet 100% of the requirements, we still encourage you to apply! Having professional working knowledge of the Dutch language is the only hard requirement.
