About the job

As a Customer Support Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in our fast-paced scale-up environment, serving as the heart of SnappCar’s car-sharing community. In this position, you will act as a brand ambassador, delivering exceptional support to our users—both renters and owners. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving customer inquiries related to insurance, damages, disputes, and account issues

  • Assisting renters with urgent technical problems to ensure seamless experiences

  • Supporting and empowering team members, including mentoring junior colleagues

The team offers their support to our growing community 365 days per year.

You’ll also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes and contribute to the development of our platform and customer service operations. With a proactive approach, you’ll identify areas for improvement and share creative solutions to enhance both customer satisfaction and team efficiency.

About you

We are looking for a customer-focused professional who is passionate about problem-solving and thrives in a dynamic, multicultural environment. You bring a mix of experience, enthusiasm, and the ability to deliver high-quality support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in inbound and outbound customer service

  • Native or fluent Dutch and excellent English skills (required)

  • Availability for at least 32 hours per week

  • Flexibility to work occasional irregular shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays

Preferred skills:

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to handle complex cases independently

  • Collaborative and supportive attitude, with experience mentoring team members

  • Intrinsically motivated to support SnappCar’s mission of reducing car usage for a greener future
