About the job

As a Product Owner at SnappCar, you will play a key role in the SnappCar product development (web & app), ensuring our platform remains user-friendly, scalable, and aligned with our business goals. You’ll be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product roadmap, working closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver the best possible experience for car owners and renters. These are some of the key areas you will be responsible for:

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision. Ensure that the team understands the direction and delivers valuable functionality that drives impact.

  • Shape and maintain the product roadmap. Translate strategic objectives into an actionable roadmap that delivers value to users and the business.

  • Own and manage the product backlog. Prioritize features and improvements based on customer needs, stakeholder input, and business objectives.

  • Act as the bridge between stakeholders. Facilitate collaboration between tech, design, marketing, and leadership to align goals and expectations.

  • Work closely with developers to prioritize technical debt, security, performance and maintain a high-performing product.

  • Lead agile processes and sprint management. Organize sprint ceremonies, remove roadblocks, and keep the team focused and efficient.

  • Use data and user insights to drive decisions. Analyze performance metrics and feedback to optimize the product experience.

About you

We are looking for a proactive and strategic Product Owner who thrives in a fast-paced, impact-driven organization. Ideally, you have:

  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.

  • A strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience working in cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Experience with backlog management, roadmap planning, and stakeholder communication.

  • A solid grasp of technical concepts, including platform stability and security.

  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

  • A hands-on and problem-solving mindset, taking initiative to drive results.
